MARBLE

Avoid Contact with Certain Substances:

Keep acids, coffee, and alcohol away from marble surfaces.
Avoid using cleaning products containing acids (vinegar, lemon juice).

Protect Against Etching and Staining:

Use coasters under glasses, especially if they contain alcohol or acids.
Reapply a protective coating once or twice a year.

Cleaning:

Use warm water and a non-abrasive sponge or soft cloth.
This method will clean but not remove etching or deep stains.

What to Avoid:

Solid placemats under ceramics or other objects that may scratch.
Bleach, ammonia, general-purpose cleaners, abrasive agents, steel wool.
Acidic cleaners (bathroom, grout, tub, tile).
Alkaline cleaners are not formulated for natural stone.
Pools of water on the marble surface.

What Can Be Used?

Anti-stain and anti-oil treatments.
Professional refinishing is needed to remove scratch marks and restore the finish.
Use a soft scrub pad and wipe with a cloth for tough stains.
Apply stone sealant to protect affected areas, following the manufacturer's directions.

METAL Cleaning:

Never use alcohol or detergents.
Use thin cotton or extra-soft cloths. Somebody should professionally clean stains of metals.
Clean the polished metal with a damp cloth.
Avoid ointments or commercial waxes that may scratch or damage the finish.

TIMBER AND LACQUERS
Care:

Clean with a soft cloth only.
Avoid commercial ointments or waxes.
Keep away from heaters and air conditioners to prevent drying or moisture exposure.
Maintain stable humidity levels to avoid damage or cracking.

Precautions:

Do not place hot or damp objects directly on wood surfaces.
